William Klaassen is a leadership coach, technology executive, and consultant with more than 25 years of experience leading and working across technology, agriculture, construction, education, and non-profit organizations.

As the Founder and Principal of Blue Giraffe Consulting, William works with leaders and organizations to strengthen leadership, improve organizational health, and create greater clarity around their vision, people, and processes.

William brings a unique mix of business, technology, and human behaviour to his work. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, alongside a background in information systems and process design.

Today, William serves as Chief Technology Officer at Aster Software Inc., where he brings his experience in technology, business systems, and leadership to an organization focused on helping businesses modernize how they manage information and operations.

Throughout his career, William has owned and managed businesses, led teams, taught at the high school level, and served in a variety of community and non-profit leadership roles, including as Past President of the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce.

At the heart of William’s approach is a simple belief: leadership is influence. His work focuses on helping leaders better understand themselves, their teams, and the organizations they lead so they can create healthier workplaces and make a more meaningful impact.
